Corner Square Apartments started out as a 48 unit “For Sale” condo project in Grand Junction Colorado.  This $6 million project was converted to a 48 unit rental property and funding was accomplished through the HUD program.

Community and pedestrian spaces were very important and accomplished through a walk-up exterior design.  First floor residences enter through external circulation and the second floor residence use an internal stairway.

The 48 units are accommodated in four buildings.  Studio K2 has also studied a second phase of townhomes expected to start design in early 2014.
